"My philosophy is to translate a brand's identity into appealing and story telling visuals. I want my visuals to be innovative and an expression of myself. My visuals are different in the aspect that they can tell a story and capture a brand's image. I want my visuals to capture the eye and make people remember it."

ABOUT ME

Anna Meraz is an enthusiastic aspiring visual merchandiser. She is a senior at Dominican University and will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Merchandising and Apparel Design in the spring of 2021. Her education has led her to pursue a career in visual merchandising. After graduation she would like to find an assistant visual merchandising role at a company that will allow her to work her way up.

For the past five years she has worked retail. She has learned how to lead herself and others to drive sales. With hands-on experience in and outside of school she has also been exposed to various merchandising roles where she has been given the opportunity to learn in different settings and adapt. Through her time at Dominican University and working as an authorizer, she has experienced working within teams and creating partnerships, having an eye for detail, prioritizing multiple tasks, creating compelling visual presentations, and effectively communicating with customers. Anna is currently looking for a visual merchandising internship and is willing to relocate. She is ready to apply her knowledge from Dominican University and gain additional skills as a future visual merchandiser.
